Have a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a similar qualification. Possess up-to-date knowledge of the First Aid Training Package, demonstrating industry currency. Strong, confident communication abilities, capable of presenting information clearly, concisely, and engagingly.
How do you become a first aid instructor?
To teach first aid, you mustĀ complete Advanced training for assessing trainers in basic emergency care. You must ensure that these first aid courses are designed to allow you to teach and assess the full range of Level 2 and Level 3 Awards in a range of First Aid qualifications.
