Suffering from a slow-healing wound?

Alginate dressings offer a natural, effective solution. Made from seaweed, these dressings create a moist healing environment that reduces pain and minimizes scarring and maceration.

Highly absorbent and gentle on your skin, alginate dressings promote faster, more comfortable healing.

Uses

Pressure ulcers: These are common in people with limited mobility, and alginates help manage the excess fluid and create a healing environment.  

Leg ulcers: Often caused by poor circulation, these ulcers tend to be slow-healing and produce a lot of exudate.  

Diabetic foot ulcers: People with diabetes often have impaired wound healing, and alginate dressings can help manage infection risk and promote healing.  

Burns: Depending on the severity, burns can weep fluid, and alginates provide a moist environment while absorbing excess exudate.

Post-surgical wounds: Some surgical wounds, especially those in areas where movement is common, may benefit from the flexibility and absorbency of alginates.  

Traumatic wounds: Wounds with significant tissue damage often produce a lot of drainage, making alginates a suitable option.

Shipping in Australia

Free Shipping - Spend over $750*

Standard Shipping Under 5kg  (2-8 Business Days) $5
Standard Shipping 5-10kg (2-8 Business Days) - $14
Standard Shipping 10-20 (2-8 Business Days) - $25

Cut off  for order processing is week days is 12pm 

We use Australia Post. Tracking ID is emailed once processing is complete.

We like to recycle packaging to keep costs down and incread customer value.

Timeframes Explained

The timeframe for order delivery is divided into two parts:

Stage 1: Processing Time
Order verification, tailoring, quality check and packaging. All orders are sent to our sales team the same day the  order is placed. They then processes the order, which can take an additional 1-2  days.


Stage 2: Shipping Time
This refers to the time it takes for items to be shipped to the destination, after the processing time. This is usually 2-8 days, 8 days at usually for WA and remote locations.

 Order Tracking

Your order will ship within 2 business days from the date of your order -- usually much sooner!  Once it's been shipped, we'll notify you via email with a tracking link, so you can track its package on its way to you. This will be sent to the email you provided during checkout.

If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to email us at admin@assurance.training and we'll be glad to help.
